Amman, September 17 (QNA) - The visit of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to Jordan manifests the depth of historic ties between the two nations and comes at a consequential political and diplomatic moment, just days after the conclusion of the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha, Jordanian experts have affirmed.

They underlined that this visit earns added significance as part of joint Arab action and the coordination of positions on pressing regional issues.

The visit has received a broader welcome among Jordanian political and parliamentary circles, with several pundits and observers emphasizing to Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the visit is a strategic milestone that bolsters coordination between Amman and Doha, underscoring that the Qatar-Jordan relationship has been thriving on more than one stage.

The visit comes in the context of the evident appreciation of the Jordanian posture expressed by HM King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan during the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha, which embodies a holistic and realistic vision toward the threats facing Arab security, said Chair of the Jordan-Qatar Parliamentary Friendship Committee Senator Khawla Armouti.

She added the visit is entirely a political message that expresses the convergence of positions between the two nations, embodying full harmony in the perspective on the threats facing the Arab world, foremost among them the Israeli escalation in the region and the ongoing violations against civilians, not only in Gaza but across several Arab countries.

Qatar and Jordan stand united when it comes to defending Arab rights, as coordination between the two nations goes beyond the diplomatic channels to become abundantly clear on the regional and global stages, given the fact that both sides speak with one language on the central issues, foremost of them being the Palestinian cause, Armouti said.

For his part, Chairman of the Jordanian-Qatari Parliamentary Brotherhood Committee in the House of Representatives, Awni Al Zoubi, affirmed to QNA that the visit is a consequential milestone in the path of the evolving robust bilateral relations.

The visit comes in the wake of unprecedented challenges that are unfolding in the region, in terms of military escalation and political transformations, thereby making the Qatar-Jordan coordination more important than ever, Al Zoubi underlined.

He emphasized that the relationship between Jordan and Qatar is not conventional, but it is based on a shared vision for Arab security, as well as economic integration in human rights issues.

Qatar, under its prudent leadership, has been standing with Jordan, and Jordan has been standing with Qatar as well, he added, before noting that there are promising cooperation projects between the two nations, primarily in energy, education, and investment fields, and this visit would contribute to broadening further horizons to cement this cooperation.

Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee of the Jordan Economic Forum, Dr. Khaldoun Naseer, said the visit comes at a critical regional moment with security risks surging and the humanitarian situation degenerating, particularly in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Recently, the presence of Qatar and Jordan in the Arab and political scene has become more effective, by virtue of the two nations' balanced postures, along with their commitment to laying out constructive initiatives that serve the Arab nation's interest away from polarizations and tight calculations, Dr. Naseer added.

He affirmed that the visit is not merely a confirmation of the rock-solid bilateral relationship, but reflects a shared recognition of the fact that the coming period requires unified Arab action based on political, economic, and humanitarian cooperation.

Jordan and Qatar have come together to form a political front that pursues a clear narrative in defending Arab rights and ensuring the stability and development of the region, Dr. Naseer pointed out.

He further explained that there is also a growing economic and investment alignment, affirmed by the legal frameworks and bilateral agreements between the two countries, which provide substantial opportunities to advance productive, technological, and educational sectors, and offer an attractive environment for joint investment and exchange of expertise.

Observers see that the Qatar-Jordan relationship has become today a successful model for Arab cooperation based on mutual respect and shared interests, as the two nations share long-standing political, cultural, and humanitarian bonds that promote the credible desire to advance cooperation in multiple sectors.

Monitors emphasize that the visit comes to reaffirm this shared legacy and underscores the two countries' aspirations for a future of joint action, founded on sustainable development, regional security, and genuine Arab solidarity. (QNA)
