Third Arab Forum for Digital Transformation in Institutions Begins in Cairo
Cairo, August 11 (QNA) - The Third Arab Forum for Digital Transformation in Institutions: Advanced Strategies to Promote Innovation and Achieve Excellence in Citizen Service began Monday in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
The forum is organized by the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO), affiliated with the Arab League, in partnership with the Libyan Institute of Management.
The three-day forum will address several topics, including innovation in public service delivery using digital technologies, the role of data and artificial intelligence in improving institutional performance, digital governance: challenges and solutions, the integration of technology and institutional culture, strategies for empowering digital human competencies, and the role of culture in the institution in identifying opportunities for digital transformation.
In his opening remarks at the forum, Director General of the ARADO Dr. Nasser Al Hatlan Al Qahtani said that digital transformation has become an indispensable strategic option for enhancing operational efficiency and competitiveness.
This aims to bring about fundamental change in service delivery mechanisms, particularly in the public sector, to improve quality of life and effectively meet citizens' needs.
In this regard, the Director General of the Organization underlined the importance of adopting advanced strategies that strike a balance between the use of modern technology and the establishment of an innovative organizational culture based on knowledge and the effective use of data.
He noted that digital transformation includes the reengineering of organizational processes with the aim of improving the beneficiary experience, fostering innovation, and increasing operational efficiency. (QNA)
