Doha, July 03 (QNA) - Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding Company (MPHC) - a Qatari public shareholding company - announced on Thursday the restructuring of a partnership to establish an advanced salt production facility in Qatar.

In a statement issued today, the company said a mutual agreement has been reached for the withdrawal of Turkish partner, Atlas, from the memorandum of understanding related to the development and operation of the facility. Under the new structure, MPHC will hold 60 percent stake, while Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company will hold 40 percent.

The company described the restructuring as a pivotal step forward for the project, ensuring operational efficiency and strengthening collaboration between the remaining partners. The facility is expected to leverage advanced technology to meet growing demand and contribute to Qatar's industrial diversification efforts.

The statement noted that MPHC remains the project development manager, providing essential support. Further details will be disclosed at the appropriate time, once a final investment decision has been reached. (QNA)
