Doha, July 17 (QNA) - Al Shamal SC announced on Thursday the renewal of defender Mohammed Musa's contract, as part of the club's efforts to strengthen its first team ahead of the 2025–2026 season.

In a statement, the club also confirmed signing of Ahmed Al Saeed from Al-Sadd on a loan deal. Al-Saeed is set to join team training immediately in preparation for the squad's upcoming trip to the Netherlands for a closed training camp ahead of the new season.

The club did not disclose details or duration of either contract but noted that efforts are ongoing to reinforce the team for the upcoming campaign.

Al Shamal, which finished sixth in the league last season with 32 points, aims to improve its performance and compete for higher positions with the help of new additions.

Mohammed Musa joined Al Shamal last season and delivered solid performances, becoming a key figure in the team's defense during the 2024–2025 campaign. (QNA)
