Doha, July 12 (QNA) - The Al Khor Cultural Center, affiliated with the Ministry of Culture, has launched its summer program for this year under the theme "Our Summer, a Launch into Creativity." The program runs until August 6 and features a wide range of purposeful cultural and artistic activities.

This initiative is part of the Ministry of Culture’s ongoing efforts to offer summer programs that enrich the time of children and youth, while fostering their talents and abilities in a stimulating creative environment.

Director of Al Khor Cultural Center, Maryam Ali Al Muhannadi stated that the summer program aims to make productive use of children's free time during the school break by catering to their needs and interests in a way that benefits them, under the supervision of qualified trainers.

Al Muhannadi explained that the program includes a variety of workshops that cater to different interests, such as oil painting, creative candle-making, anime drawing, kids’ crafts, bead and decoration art, "Make My Own Doll" workshop, advanced resin art, colorful bracelet-making, and floral crown and arrangement workshops for special occasions. Additionally, a mosaic art workshop is offered exclusively for girls aged 7 to 18 and above.

She added that the program also includes a cooking workshop to teach participants culinary skills, as well as a Majlis Etiquette workshop offered for the first time for boys, in cooperation with the "Nomas" Center. This workshop aims to introduce participants to the traditional customs and etiquette of Qatari majlis gatherings. (QNA)
