Qatari Football League: Qatar SC Announces Departure of Six of Its Professional Players
Doha, June 5 (QNA) - Qatar SC announced today the departure of six professional players from the first football team after their contracts had expired.
The club said in a statement posted on its X account that Spanish defender Javi Martinez, South African Percy Tau, Brazilian Carlinhos Vinicius, Congolese Ben Malango, Moroccan defender Badr Banoun, and Egyptian striker Ahmed Abdelkader had left the team due to the expiration of their contracts. The club thanked them for their efforts during their time with Qatar SC.
Qatar SC is seeking to seal new deals during its preparations for the new season (2025-2026), which will begin on August 14.
A few days ago, the club, league 10th, announced the end of the contract of its Moroccan coach, Youssef Safri. (QNA)
