Google Enables Automatic Email Summarization in Gmail
Washington, May 30 (QNA) - Google has begun enabling the automatic summarization of emails within the Gmail app for Google Workplace users, relying on its artificial intelligence technologies.
Google explained that the new feature is currently limited to emails written in English and will be available only in the Gmail app on smartphones.
It will gradually roll out to various accounts over the course of two weeks.
It noted that Gmail will automatically display summaries of complex and frequently replied-filled email threads, appearing at the top of the conversation interface within the app, without the need to manually request them as was previously the case.
The company highlighted the ability of this feature to automatically update summaries when new replies are added to the same email thread, helping users process long or complex emails more efficiently in a short time. (QNA)
