Qatar Crowned Champions of 10th Arab Men's Handball Championship

Kuwait, May 11 (QNA) - The Qatari national handball team clinched their first-ever Arab Men's Handball Championship title after defeating Bahrain 25–22 in the final of the tournament's 10th edition, held in Kuwait with the participation of nine teams: Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iraq, Tunisia, Morocco, UAE, and Bahrain.

This title marks Qatar's first-ever victory in the Arab Men's Handball Championship, earning the team a place among the list of nations that have claimed the prestigious regional title.

The Qatari national team delivered a commanding performance to clinch a well-deserved victory, dominating most phases of the match. Standout contributions came from several players, notably goalkeeper Ahmed Magdy, whose impressive saves were instrumental in tipping the balance in Qatar's favor against Bahrain.

Qatar advanced to the final after topping Group B with two wins - beating Saudi Arabia 31 - 22 and Tunisia 31 - 30. In the semifinals, they overcame Egypt with a convincing 25 - 19 victory.

Bahrain reached the final by finishing first in Group A, following wins over Iraq (28–26) and Egypt (36–32). They then defeated hosts Kuwait 29–24 in the semifinal round.
