Doha, April 29 (QNA) - The State of Qatar condemned the Israeli occupation's closure of the Jerusalem Fund and Endowment, considering it a new escalation against the brotherly Palestinian people and their national institutions.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned against the Israeli systematic policies aiming to Judaize Jerusalem and to break the resilience of Jerusalemites as part of the war of annihilation against the Palestinians.

In this context, the Ministry called on the international community to uphold its moral and legal responsibilities to compel the Israeli occupation to comply with international legitimacy resolutions.

In addition, the Ministry reiterated the State of Qatar's enduring position on espousing the Palestinian cause and supporting the resilience of the brotherly Palestinian people based on international legitimacy resolutions and the two-state solution to ensure the establishment of the independent Palestinian State on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
