Doha, December 9 (QNA) – The Ministry of Culture has announced the launch of Darb Al Saai activities on Wednesday in celebration of Qatar National Day (QND).
The event features a comprehensive cultural and heritage experience reflecting authentic Qatari identity and the values of loyalty and belonging.
The activities will take place across 150,000 square meters at the Darb Al Saai site in Umm Salal. The program includes a wide range of activities showcasing both land and sea heritage, including the Al Maqtar and Al Azba activities, which simulate Bedouin life and feature poetry sessions and riddles.
There will also be traditional houses such as the Falconry House, the Hunting House, and the Sadu and Spinning House, in addition to children's activities, including camel riding lessons and live experiences reflecting the nomadic life of their ancestors.
Darb Al Saai also features a distinctive maritime aspect through the Al Bidda event, which embodies the traditional maritime environment, accompanied by heritage games and competitions, and a museum documenting Qatari maritime heritage.
