Iraq's Foreign Minister Discusses Strengthening Bilateral Relations with US Official
Baghdad, December 02 (QNA) - Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein met Tuesday with US Deputy Secretary of State Michael Rigas, who is visiting Iraq, to discuss strengthening joint cooperation in various political, economic and security fields.
According to a statement from the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, the meeting included a review of regional and international challenges facing the region.
Hussein noted the importance of easing regional tensions, affirming Iraq's role in supporting stabilization efforts.
Rigas highlighted the importance of continued regional and international coordination to address economic, political and security challenges, underscoring the need to work within a positive bilateral relationship with the Iraqi government. (QNA)
