Vancouver, June 27 (QNA) - Belgium stormed into the Round of 32 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a commanding 5-1 victory over New Zealand in their final Group G match at BC Place in Vancouver on Friday.
Leandro Trossard scored twice, while Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Saelemaekers also found the net to seal an emphatic win.
Belgium's goals came in the 28th, 50th, 66th, 86th and fourth minute of stoppage time.
The victory saw Belgium finish top of Group G after drawing their opening two matches against Egypt and Iran, securing progression to the knockout stage.
