Doha, December 29 (QNA) - Umm Salal beat Al Ahli 3-0 in the concluding match of Week 11 of 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Al Thumama Stadium on Monday.

All of Umm Salal's goals came in the second half, with Oussama Tannane (58th minute) opening the scoring with a sensational long-range shot from a free-kick that garnered tremendous applause from the spectators.

Six minutes later, Cristo Gonzalez tapped into an empty net from a sublime assist by Abdulrahman Al Rashidi, while Antonio Mance completed the task in the 73rd minute to ensure an emphatic victory for Umm Salal who secured their third win of the season, lifting them to the 10th position with nine points in the standings.

The defeat, however, marked an unwanted start for newly-appointed coach Younes Ali, with Al Ahli remaining on 12 points, just ahead of Umm Salal in the table. (QNA)
