Doha, December 28 (QNA) - Al Arabi and Al Rayyan played out a dramatic 2-2 draw in Week 11 of 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Al Thumama Stadium on Sunday.

Al Rayyan opened the scoring in the 34th minute with Roger Guedes capitalising on goalkeeper Jassim Al Hail’s error to hit home the opener from a brilliant assist by Wesley Ribeiro.

Al Arabi, however, went from a goal down to a goal lead with Pablo Sarabia (52nd minute) and Alexis Perez (72nd minute) and just when it seemed they were cruising home with the maximum points, Mohammed Saleh upset the apple cart by scoring the equaliser in five minutes of added time.

With the result, Al Arabi, who ended the match with 10 men after Abdullah Marafee was sent off in the dying minutes of added time, now moved to 17 points in the standings, while Al Rayyan are on 20 points. (QNA)
