Woman Injured in Blast in Damascus
Damascus, November 14 (QNA) - A woman was injured in an explosion in the Mezzeh 86 district of Damascus, Syrian authorities announced last night.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) quoted a military source as saying that the explosion was the result of an attack of unknown origin targeting the Mezzeh 86 district of Damascus. The source explained that the attack involved missiles launched from a mobile platform.
The source added that the perpetrators and the weapon used remain unknown. Authorities are working to identify those responsible for the explosion and have established a security cordon around the targeted area.
The Syrian Ministry of Health's Emergency and Ambulance Directorate confirmed that the explosion injured a woman, who was subsequently transported to a hospital in Damascus. (QNA)
