Cairo, October 19 (QNA) - Daniil Sokolov, of the Qatari national golf team, has won the title of the 2025 Egyptian Amateur Open Golf Championship, which concluded at the Dreamland Golf Club in Cairo, Egypt.

Sokolov won with a score of nine-under-par, beating an elite group of Arab and international golfers.

Qatari Saleh Al Kaabi came fourth, further cementing Qatar's strong presence in the championship and contributing to Qatar's placement in the general ranking of the Arab Golf Federation.

The 2025 Egyptian Amateur Open Golf Championship is recognized by the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR) and is part of the series of championships of the Arab Golf Federation.

The Qatar Golf Association has made sure in the last period to best prepare its players in advanced training programs to elevate their physical and mental ability to deliver outstanding performance in regional and international events. (QNA)
