Brussels, October 09 (QNA) - European stock indices opened higher today amid improving market performance and declining oil prices, as investors continued to assess the outlook for the artificial intelligence sector.

Among major markets, London's FTSE 100 index rose by 0.84 percent, while France's CAC 40 index gained 0.92 percent on the Paris stock exchange.

Germany's DAX index in Frankfurt also advanced by 0.79 percent. (QNA)
