Riyadh, October 09 (QNA) - Three Saudi nationals have been killed and several other people injured in two attacks targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and a Saudi Airlines aircraft, Saudi authorities have said.

The attacks took place on Thursday, according to a statement from the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation, carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on Friday.

The authority said a number of Saudi citizens and foreign residents were injured, with injuries ranging from minor to serious. The incidents also caused material damage, it added.

Airport operations have since resumed, with air traffic returning to normal, the authority said.
