Beirut, September 09 (QNA) - Israeli forces continue their assaults on different areas in southern Lebanon, despite the framework agreement signed between Lebanon and Israel last June.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported Israeli artillery shelling on the outskirts of Qabrikha, coinciding with heavy machine gun fire from Israeli forces towards Majdal Zoun Municipality.
An Israeli drone also launched an attack, dropping explosives on the town of Mansouri, while artillery shelling of the town continued.
In a related development, Israeli warplanes attacked the outskirts of Nabatieh al-Fawqa, near Kfar Tebnit, and Doha Kfar Rumman was subjected to intermittent artillery fire. Israeli tanks moved towards the east of Khiam, and heavy gunfire was directed at the area amidst a tense atmosphere.
These attacks come amidst continued escalation and tension in southern Lebanon, with fears that these Israeli attacks will expand and target more residential areas. (QNA)
