Cairo, September 09 (QNA) - Egypt strongly condemned the renewed Iranian attacks targeting Jordan, affirming its full solidarity with Jordan and its support for the country in confronting anything that threatens its security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
In a statement issued Wednesday, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed Egypt's unequivocal rejection of any escalatory actions that could widen the conflict and threaten the security and stability of the region. It underscored the need for an immediate halt to the attacks, restraint and a preference for diplomatic channels to prevent the region from sliding into further escalation and instability. (QNA)
