UAE President, Japan Prime Minister Discuss Regional Developments
Abu Dhabi, April 07 (QNA) - HH President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Japan's Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi discussed, during a phone call on Tuesday, regional and international developments and their implications for regional and global security and stability, including maritime security, energy supplies, and the global economy.
The call also addressed the ongoing Iranian attacks targeting civilians, facilities, and civilian infrastructure in the UAE and other countries in the region, which constitute a violation of national sovereignty, international law and norms, and the UN Charter.
The two sides further reviewed bilateral relations and discussed avenues to enhance cooperation, particularly in the economic and development fields, within the framework of the strategic partnership between the two countries, reaffirming their commitment to further strengthening and advancing it.
