Doha, March 07 (QNA) - HE Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi issued a circular determining working hours during the blessed month of Ramadan for ministries, government agencies and public institutions.

On the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan for the year 1445 AH, it was decided that the official working hours during the blessed month for civil employees will be five hours a day, starting from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm, the circular reads.

Employees may be permitted late attendance up to 10:00 am at the latest, provided that they fulfill work requirements and complete the official working hours (five hours).

The remote work system will be applied during the blessed month, with a maximum of 30 percent of the total number of employees allowed to work remotely. Priority in this regard is given to Qatari mothers and persons with disabilities, and in a way that does not affect the work requirements.

As for the health and education sectors, the Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education will each specify the official working hours and schedules in a manner that suits the nature of the work. (QNA) (QNA)
