Tripoli, October 05 (QNA) - Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, and Indonesian Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, Muhammad Anis, discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation, during the latter's visit on Sunday.

The meeting saw both sides agree to establish a joint technical committee to address pending economic issues between both countries and resolve previous commitments, as to enhance mutual trust and establish sustainable economic cooperation over the coming period.

Dabaiba underscored Libya's eagerness to expand its partnerships with major Asian and Islamic states and welcomed continued bilateral consultations to hold a joint economic forum in either countries' capitals in the coming period with the aim of activating bilateral practical cooperation.

Both sides stressed the convergence of their positions on the Palestinian issue and expressed their rejection of any infringement on the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. Moreover, they called for a peaceful settlement to the Sudanese crisis and supported efforts aimed at consolidating the ceasefire and achieving stability. (QNA)
