Kazakhstan and Jordan Discuss Ties, Regional Developments in Astana Talks
Astana, November 05 (QNA) - Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held talks with Jordan's King Abdullah II in Astana on Thursday, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and discussing key regional developments.
During the meeting, President Tokayev described Jordan as a trusted partner for Kazakhstan in the Arab world, noting that the two countries shared similar positions on a range of regional and international issues.
King Abdullah II, meanwhile, said Jordan and Kazakhstan shared the view that the two-state solution was the only path towards achieving peace and stability.
The Jordanian monarch stressed that Israel must not be allowed to continue its attacks in Jerusalem, Gaza and the occupied West Bank, or its attempts to violate the sovereignty of Arab states. (QNA)
