Israeli Occupation Forces Raid Western Damascus Countryside
Damascus, October 05 (QNA) - An Israeli occupation force, accompanied by several military vehicles, entered agricultural lands between Beit Jinn farm and the town of Beit Jinn in the western countryside of Damascus, Syria.
The Syrian News Agency (SANA) reported that the force entered a military post in the area, formerly held by the previous regime, and blew it up.
On September 18, Israeli occupation forces targeted Bat al-Warda Hill, near the town of Beit Jinn in the Damascus countryside, with several artillery shells. The shells struck the hill, but no casualties were reported.
Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the 1974 Disengagement of Forces Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, raids on civilian homes, arrests, land leveling, and artillery attacks and other forms of assault.
Syria has consistently called for the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation from its territory, urging the international community to fulfill its responsibilities and compel the Israeli entity to fully withdraw from southern Syria. (QNA)
