Libya, Indonesia Discuss Establishing Bilateral Strategic Partnership
Tripoli, October 04 (QNA) - Chairman of Libya's Presidential Council Mohammed Al Menfi met on Saturday with Indonesian Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Muhammad Anis Matta, discussing enhancing bilateral ties as to establish a strategic partnership covering various economic, political, and cultural sectors.
During the meeting, Al Menfi stressed the importance of activating bilateral relations, launching political consultations, and coordinating positions on issues of common interest at international forums, therefore enhancing the role of Islamic countries in achieving stability and peace regionally and globally.
For his part, Matta stressed the keenness of both countries' leaderships to advance relations to the level of a strategic partnership. (QNA)
