Nama Launches its Social Incubator's Business Development Program
Doha, May 05 (QNA) - Qatar Social Work Foundation-affiliate, the Social Development Center (Nama) announced the launch of a Nama social incubator business development program, during a press conference attended by a host of public and private sector partners, emerging entrepreneurs, and media representatives.
The launch of the business development program comes as part of Nama's efforts to provide a supportive and stimulating environment for entrepreneurship with economic and social impact. The program features an integrated model combining training, qualifications, institutional support, and market linkage, in keeping with the objectives of the Qatar National Vision 2030 to enhance the youth's role in economic and social development.
In his speech to the conference, Executive Director of Nama Center, Ghanem Salah Al Ali, said that the program is a culmination of Nama's ongoing efforts to empower the youth and encourage them to develop innovative solutions to social challenges.
He added that stemming from the conviction that investing in economic and social entrepreneurship is an investment in the community's sustainability, Nama strives to build an integrated system that enhances entrepreneurs' preparedness and propels their projects to have greater levels of impact.
For his part, Nama social incubator director, Abdulrahman Al Amri said that the launch of the business development program represents a qualitative leap in supporting projects with economic and social dimensions. Al Amri added that this incubator aims to provide young talents with the resources they need to turn their projects into success stories.
He said that the key to true success lies in the combination of guidance, training, and quality partnerships.
During the conference, Namaa announced the signing of several cooperation agreements with specialized Qatari companies, as part of a vision to enhance support provided to incubatees and expand the partnership network, serving the center's strategic goals.
These agreements were signed together with: Adeer, a digital solutions company; Naseh, Qatar Legal Tech Startup; KAFY, a B2B food supply company; Qommunication, communications and PR agency; Souq Al Baladi, integrated shopping and delivery services; and the Qatari Numbering Office, which aims to establish cooperation to build advanced infrastructure capable of serving national industries.
Under the signed agreements, these companies will provide a range of integrated services to entrepreneurs, including technological solutions, legal consultations, logistical services, digital marketing, and other forms of support that contribute to enabling projects to achieve sustainable and impactful growth.
These partnerships come in line with Nama's commitment to building a network of strategic allies who share its vision for a more inclusive community and economic development.
Nama reaffirmed its emphasis on the importance of enhancing cooperation between civil society and the private sector to create an environment that nurtures creativity and innovation, and to drive entrepreneurship forward in alignment with the Qatar National Vision 2030, which places human development at the heart of its priorities and relies on innovation and entrepreneurship as fundamental pillars for achieving a diverse and sustainable economy.
