Eleven Militants Killed in Pakistan Security Operations
Islamabad, August 27 (QNA) - Pakistani security forces announced today the killing of 11 militants during security operations in various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces in the north and southwest of the country.
Police stated that security operations were conducted in South Waziristan and Bannu in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as well as in the Khuzdar district of Balochistan, resulting in the deaths of two militants and the seizure of weapons and ammunition.
They added that security forces launched an operation in South Waziristan that resulted in the deaths of five militants, and raided other hideouts in Sasol, Balochistan, killing four more militants.
A few days ago, Pakistani security forces announced the killing of five militants during operations in the southwest of the country, reaffirming their commitment to continuing operations until the threat of terrorism in the country is completely eradicated. (QNA)
