Baghdad, June 26 (QNA) - Two ISIS members were killed during an operation carried out by Iraqi security forces in Kirkuk Governorate, northern Iraq.

Local sources reported that an Iraqi security force, acting on accurate intelligence, clashed with an ISIS group after a well-planned ambush was set up in Wadi Zgheitoun, south of Kirkuk Governorate.

The sources said that the clash resulted in the deaths of two ISIS members, while Iraqi security force withdrew after completing its mission without incurring any losses.

Iraqi forces continue their efforts to pursue ISIS remnants across the country, particularly in the northern and western governorates.(QNA)
