IAEA Calls on Iran to Declare Uranium Stocks
Vienna, June 10 (QNA) - The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors has approved a resolution calling on Iran to declare its remaining stocks of enriched uranium and allow inspectors to verify them.
According to diplomatic sources, the draft, submitted by the United States, Britain, France, and Germany, was adopted by 21 votes in favor, with three against and ten abstentions.
The resolution urges Iran to provide the agency with full information on its nuclear material stocks and grant inspectors the necessary access without delay.
The move comes amid heightened tensions following reported exchanges between the United States and Iran in the aftermath of claims involving a US Apache helicopter near the Strait of Hormuz. (QNA)
