Doha, June 25 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani visited the Joint Operations Command (Northern Sector) of the Qatari Amiri Armed Forces on Wednesday morning in Al Mazrouah area.

HH the Amir toured the command headquarters, where he was briefed on the most prominent systems used in surveillance, command, and control systems, as well as the mechanisms and procedures for joint operations.

His Highness also listened to a briefing on the success of the Qatari Amiri Armed Forces in intercepting the missile attack that targeted Al-Udeid Air Base, and the precautionary measures taken by the armed forces. HH the Amir praised the efficiency of the Qatari Armed Forces and their readiness to defend the homeland, expressing his thanks and appreciation to all those working in the military and security fields in the country.

HH the Amir was accompanied by HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan bin Ali Al-Thani, and a number of senior military and security officers. (QNA)
