European Shares Open Mixed

Brussels, June 24 (QNA) - European shares opened mixed on Wednesday. 
The pan-European STOXX 600 index was down 0.02 percent at 634.50 points at the start of trading. 
The aerospace and defense sector fell 1.7 percent to lead declines on the STOXX 600, while the real estate sector rose 2.4 percent to post the biggest gains on the index. The technology sector also advanced 0.3 percent, recovering from its biggest one-day drop in nearly five months recorded in the previous session. 
France's CAC 40 rose 0.22 percent, while Britain's FTSE 100 fell 0.07 percent. 
Germany's DAX slipped 0.43 percent, and Italy's FTSE MIB was down 0.10 percent at the open. (QNA)
