GCC Secretary General Meets Japan Assistant Foreign Minister
Riyadh, December 21 (QNA) - Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi met today with Assistant Minister and Director-General of the Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Keiichi Iwamoto.
During the meeting, the officials discussed Gulf-Japanese relations and means to enhance them.
They also reviewed the latest developments regarding the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the two sides, noting that the agreement will contribute to supporting the strategic partnership between the GCC and Japan and achieving the common interests of the peoples of both parties.
Both sides affirmed their mutual commitment to continuing coordination and consultation, enhancing communication channels, and driving Gulf-Japanese relations toward broader horizons. (QNA)
