Israeli Occupation Forces Encroach Into Syrian Territory
Damascus, June 21 (QNA) - An Israeli occupation force encroached into Syrian territory in the early hours of Sunday in the Yarmouk Basin area of western Daraa countryside, reaching the village of Abdin.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that an occupation force consisting of more than 10 military vehicles advanced into the area between the villages of Maariyah and Abdin and reached the outskirts of Abdin. The force reportedly searched several homes in the village, causing fear and panic among residents.
Israel continues its attacks and violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through incursions into southern Syria and aggressions against civilians, including raids, arrests, land bulldozing, and shelling.
Syria has reiterated its demand for the withdrawal of occupation forces from its territory and stressed that all Israeli measures in southern Syria are null and void and produce no legal effect under international law. It also called on the international community to assume its responsibilities, deter these practices, and compel Israel to withdraw completely from southern Syria. (QNA)
