Beirut, October 11 (QNA)  - One person was killed and another was injured following an explosion of a suspicious object left by the Israeli entity in the town of Froun in the Bint Jbeil District within the Nabatiyeh Governorate in southern Lebanon.

The ambulance crew and civil defense moved the body of the deceased from the area as well the person injured after fire broke out in the area as a result of the explosion. Authorities continue their efforts to contain the fire.

Earlier Sunday, The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced that the victims toll due to the Israeli aggression against Lebanon since October 8, 2023, has reached 8,954 deaths and 30,660 injured. (QNA)
