Kuwait Bourse Closes Higher

Kuwait, November 20 (QNA) - Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Thursday as the All Share Index gained 17.27 points to reach 8,831.39 points, an increase of 0.20 percent.

As many as 329.2 million shares valued at KWD 78.5 million (roughly USD 240.2 million) were traded via 21,775 transactions.

The Main Market Index went up by 53.62 points to reach 8,339.88 points, up by 0.65 percent, through 196.9 million shares done via 12,498 transactions valued at KWD 28.6 million (roughly USD 87.5 million).

The Premier Market Index gained 9.06 points to reach 9,390.42 points, up by 0.10 percent, through 132.2 million shares done via 9,277 transactions valued at KWD 49.8 million (roughly USD 152.3 million).

Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index went up by 70.74 points to reach 8,484.99 points, up by 0.84 percent, through stock volume of 89.7 million shares done in 6,508 deals at a value of KWD 17.5 million (roughly USD 53.5 million). (QNA)
