Islamabad, August 20 (QNA) - Pakistani security forces announced today that five militants were killed during security operations in the Southwest of the country.

The forces said that the operations were carried out based on intelligence information in the Panjgur district of Balochistan province in the Southwest of the country, resulting in the killing of 5 militants and the confiscation of a quantity of weapons and ammunition that were in their possession.

Pakistani authorities announced this week that they had carried out several military operations that resulted in the death and injury of dozens in the Southwest of the country. (QNA)
