Doha, August 20 (QNA) - Al Wakrah and Qatar SC drew 2-2 in their match today at Lusail Stadium, which opened the first round of the 2026-2027 Qatar Football League (Doha Bank Stars League) season.

Al Wakrah's Redouane Berkane scored in the 45+1 minute and Amine Zahzouh from the penalty spot in the 67th minute, while Aron Gunnarsson scored for Qatar SC in the 18th minute and Bruno Tabata in the 79th.

 Both teams pushed for a winning goal in the closing stages, but neither was able to break the deadlock, and the match ended in a 2-2 draw. (QNA)
