Doha, August 20 (QNA) - The Lawyers Admission Committee held a meeting today, chaired by HE Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ibrahim bin Ali bin Issa Al Hassan Al Mohannadi, the Chairman of the Committee.
The meeting discussed the items on the committee's agenda.Three new lawyers took the legal oath before the Committee after completing their training period.
The committee also reviewed applications to register a number of lawyers from equivalent professional jurisdictions in the Practicing Lawyers Register, as well as applications to register lawyers in the Trainee Lawyers Register. 
It further considered requests from two candidates to complete their training period to practice the legal profession, and a request to transfer a lawyer's registration from the Practicing Lawyers Register and admission to appear before the Court of First Instance to the Practicing Lawyers Register and admission to appear before the Court of Appeal.
The committee also discussed a number of regulatory matters related to the legal profession, including the minutes of the subcommittees.
During the meeting, His Excellency affirmed the Ministry of Justice's commitment to continuing the development of the legal profession, qualifying national competencies, and providing a supportive legislative and institutional environment to enable lawyers to fulfill their mission with efficiency and competence, in line with the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030 and in support of the goals of the Third National Development Strategy.
