Kuwait, April 20 (QNA) - Boursa Kuwait closed trading on Monday in negative territory, with its general index falling 55.76 points, or 0.62%, to 8,869.06 points.
A total of 394.4 million shares were traded through 27,922 cash transactions, with a total value of KWD 99.6 million (approximately $325.7 million).
The Main Market Index also declined, shedding 88.03 points, or 1.06%, to 8,210.21 points, with 222.8 million shares traded through 14,650 transactions valued at KWD 32.9 million (about $107.5 million).
The First Market Index fell by 51.80 points, or 0.54%, to 9,469.45 points, with 171.5 million shares traded across 13,272 transactions worth KWD 66.6 million (approximately $217.7 million).
Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index dropped 109.64 points, or 1.20%, to close at 9,028.98 points, with 199.1 million shares traded through 12,119 cash transactions valued at KWD 29.1 million (approximately $95.1 million). (QNA)
