Gaza, November 02 (QNA) - The death toll from the Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 68,865, with 170,670 others injured.

The Gaza Ministry of Health said Sunday that hospitals in the Strip received, over the past 24 hours, the bodies of seven people killed, including three newly reported deaths, three bodies recovered from under the rubble, and one person who succumbed to his injuries, along with six wounded.

The ministry noted that many victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are still unable to reach them.

It added that since the cease-fire on Oct. 11, 236 people have been killed and 600 injured, while 502 bodies have been recovered. The ministry also reported that the total number of bodies handed over by Israeli authorities stands at 225. (QNA)
