Dili, November 02 (QNA) - An earthquake measuring 5.2 magnitude on the Richter scale struck northeast of Lospalos city in Timor-Leste on Sunday.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the quake occurred at a depth of 176.2 kilometers, about 137 kilometers northeast of Lospalos.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or material damage.

Timor-Leste is prone to frequent seismic activity as it lies along the Pacific Ring of Fire. (QNA)
