Amman, April 28 (QNA) - Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and his Greek counterpart George Gerapetritis held a phone call on Tuesday to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and the Middle East developments.

According to Jordanian officials, the two ministers reaffirmed their shared commitment to expanding cooperation across various sectors, including through the trilateral mechanism with Cyprus and within the framework of partnership with the European Union.

They also stressed the importance of upcoming political consultations between their foreign ministries and exchanged views on regional developments, emphasizing the need to de-escalate tensions and support efforts aimed at restoring security and stability in the region. (QNA)
