Russia, Ukraine Exchange Announcements of Downing Drones

Kyiv/Moscow, June 02 (QNA) – Russia and Ukraine exchanged claims on Tuesday of downing drones, as the conflict between the two countries continues.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported that its air defense units shot down 602 Russian drones and 40 missiles in the north, south, and east of the country.

In response, Russian forces stated that its air defenses destroyed 148 Ukrainian drones overnight over several Russian regions.

Since February 24, 2022, Russia and Ukraine have been exchanging almost daily reports claiming advances or the repelling of attacks by the other side, without independent verification of these claims due to the ongoing fighting. (QNA)
