Jakarta, June 02 (QNA) - HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani, met on Tuesday with HE Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, during His Excellency's visit to Indonesia.
An official reception ceremony was held on this occasion for HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs upon his arrival to the headquarters of the Indonesian Ministry of Defense.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest security developments in the region, as well as aspects of military cooperation and joint coordination under the current circumstances.
The meeting also witnessed the signing of a deal between Barzan Holdings and the Indonesian Ministry of Defense, and a partnership agreement between Barzan Holdings and Republikorp.
HE Ambassador of the State of the Qatar to the Republic of Indonesia, Sultan bin Mubarak Al Dosari, attended the meeting, alongside several senior officers and officials from both sides. (QNA)
