New York, May 02 (QNA) - The main indices on Wall Street closed mixed at the end of today's trading session, amid a continued rise for the sixth consecutive week for the Standard & Poor's 500 and Nasdaq indices.

The Standard & Poor's 500 index rose by 21.11 points, or 0.29 percent, to close at 7230.12 points. The Nasdaq Composite Index also rose by 222.13 points, or 0.89 percent, to reach 25,114.443. In contrast, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 152.87 points, or 0.31 percent, to 49,499.27 points. (QNA)
