Doha, February 02 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani visited the "Art Basel Qatar" exhibition on Monday evening at M7, Qatar's epicentre for innovation and entrepreneurship in design, fashion and technology, and the Doha Design District in Msheireb.

During his tour of the exhibition, His Highness viewed a selection of paintings, artworks and contemporary sculptures by participating local and international artists, in a display that reflects the growth of the country's vibrant cultural scene and Qatar's status as an artistic and cultural hub at both the regional and international levels.

Following the tour, His Highness attended a reception held this evening at Qatar Preparatory School for Boys in honor of the participating artists and guests.

HH the Amir was accompanied by HE Chairperson of Qatar Museum Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, along with a number of Their Excellencies sheikhs, ministers and senior officials, as well as the participating artists and guests. (QNA)
