Israeli Forces Fire Artillery Shells in Southern Syria
Damascus, August 18 (QNA) - Israeli forces fired an artillery shell Tuesday toward the valley located west of Abdin in the western Daraa countryside in southern Syria, with no casualties or material damage reported, the Arab News Agency (SANA) reported.
Israeli forces targeted the vicinity of Al-Samadaniyah Al-Gharbiyah village in the northern Quneitra countryside with three artillery shells last Thursday, with no casualties reported.
The villages located in southern Syria and close to the lines of contact with the occupied Syrian Golan come under repeated offensives by Israeli forces, which adversely impact the lives of residents, agricultural activity, and stability in those areas.
Syria is constantly calling for the exit of Israeli forces from its territory, emphasizing that all measures the occupation takes are null and void and stripped of any legal effect under international law.
The country also demands that the international community undertake its responsibility and compel Israel to fully withdraw from southern Syria. (QNA)
