Eight Children Killed in Louisiana Shooting
Washington, April 19 (QNA) - Eight children aged between one and 14 were killed and two others wounded in a shooting in Shreveport, Louisiana, police said, describing the incident as stemming from a "domestic disturbance."
Officers said a single gunman opened fire on 10 people before fleeing the scene in a stolen vehicle. Police later pursued and shot dead the suspect.
"This is a very large scene with multiple deceased children," Shreveport police spokesperson Chris Bordelon said.
Bordelon added that the crime scene spanned three separate locations, describing it as "an extensive scene unlike anything most of us have ever seen." (QNA)
