Ahli Bank Net Profit Rises 2.8% in Q1 2026

Doha, April 19 (QNA) - Ahli Bank reported a 2.8% increase in net profits for the first quarter of 2026, reaching QR 235.713 million, compared with QR 229.255 million in the same period last year.

Earnings per share (EPS) rose to QR 0.084 for the period ended March 31, 2026, from QR 0.081 a year earlier, according to data released by the bank and published on the Qatar Stock Exchange website.

HE Chairman of Ahli Bank, Sheikh Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Jassim Al-Thani said the bank's performance during the first quarter of 2026 reflects the effectiveness of its strategic direction, as well as the strength of its governance framework and risk management practices.

He added that the executive management continues to make tangible progress in implementing strategic priorities while maintaining a strong capital position, expressing optimism about further business expansion and strengthening the bank's market position in line with Qatar’s national development objectives.

For his part, Chief Executive Officer of Ahli Bank, Hassan Ahmed Al Efrangi, said the bank began 2026 from a strong financial position, supported by successful strategic execution and consistent performance achieved throughout the previous year. (QNA)
